OBC Seeking Qualified Soil Analytical Laboratory Partner
The Oakville Bluegrass Cooperative (OBC) was awarded the USDA Partnerships for Climate Smart Commodities grant earlier in 2024 and is seeking a Soil Analytical Laboratory Partner to handle the analysis requirements for the long-term USDA project. The USDA grant provides funding and oversight for this project, which aims to incentivize the early adoption of no-till perennial cover crops in specialty crop systems.
We seek Soil Analytical Laboratories to consider submitting a proposal to become OBC’s Soil Analytical Laboratory Partner for the USDA Partnerships for Climate Smart Commodities project. The Request for Proposal: Soil Analytical Laboratory Partner document attached explains the project scope, expectations, analytical goals, and instructions on how to apply. Below is the RFP timeline with all the essential dates and deadlines:
RPF distribution: December 9, 2024
Deadline for questions: December 13, 2024, by 5 pm PST
RFP submission deadline: January 13, 2025, by 5 pm PST
Proposal application review period: January 14 to 17, 2025
Notification of shortlisted lab partners: Starting January 20, 2025
Lab partner interview and vetting period: January 20 to 31, 2025
Lab partner selection: February 2025
